The Harley Medical Group is a private medical practice that specialises in all types of cosmetic surgery, minor cosmetic treatments and laser treatments for the permanent reduction of unwanted hair.
The group has been established in the UK since 1983 and has a reputation for being a very ethical practice with the highest standards. We are the organisation in the UK that is approached by manufacturers to develop and launch new treatments, because of our reputation, skill and expertise.
The company has 18 clinics throughout the United Kingdom. We also have a clinic in Dublin, Ireland. Our clinics offer all aspects of pre and post-operative care and minor treatments for patients. Surgical procedures are carried out in specialised hospitals by qualified surgeons specialising in this field.
The company is largely nurse managed and led and all of our clinics are registered and regulated by the Healthcare Commission, which is the government regulatory body for private healthcare. There is a specialised training department of three for initial and on-going training of nursing staff. All training can be contributed to PREP requirements for nursing registration.
The Harley Medical Group has a policy of internal promotion and over 90% of promotions are to internal candidates. Staff are able to move from one area of speciality to another to enhance their skills and full training is given for this.
Our target audience for recruitment is nurses leaving the NHS or private sector to move in to a more commercial environment, or nurses with a proven track record in the pharmaceutical or similar industry. We have opportunities for people that want to use their experience in a new and different arena. Staff are permanently based in a clinic giving the opportunity for teamwork and sometimes have the opportunity to work in other clinics, so varying their experience. Potential patients come asking for advice, there is no requirement for staff to negotiate their way in to see people before they can even start any form of assessment prior to promotion of the company's services.
The Harley Medical Group is an example of a company that motivates, trains and rewards its staff for their commitment to provide a high standard of results to both the patient and the company.
